Reduce the steps required when placing a mobile trade and create a sustainable native experience for future development. Bring in real users to assess their needs / frustrations to improve the existing app.

While not the intended goal of our user tests, we learned there were intimidating aspects of the mobile app that users would avoid out of caution. This lead an adjacent project to increase user education throughout the app.

User testing showed users could place a frustration-free trade in less time than competing apps. Ally Invest mobile went from one of the highest number of taps to trade to trade, 17, to as low as 7.
